She has a Master degree in Electrical and TelecommunicationsEngineering from the Graduate Program in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering (PPGEET/UFF) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidade Federal Fluminense in 2017, and participated in a student exchange program with the University of Florida, USA. Her main areas of interest are New-Generation Networks, Sensor Networks, Network Security, Blockchain and Computational Intelligence. In her PhD she will research the usage of data encryption for securing and sharing healthcare and research data.
